Are you new to Austin International Experience?
Upon arriving in Austin after 8 years in Germany and a year in Vietnam, Geographer and Interculturalist Anna Katrina Davey, M.A., who hails from Trieste Italy, began her work hosting intercultural programs and mapping Austin’s internationally and culturally based organizations.
4 years later, this data has served as the inspiration for Austin’s first ever multicultural events calendar. Anna Katrina’s vision was to give a home and voice to Austin’s culturally based organizations, enhance their visibility, and at the same time act as a user friendly resource for the greater Austin community.
So whether you are a simple guy trying to take his girlfriend on a worldly date, or a house wife who lived in Austin her entire life, tired of the “same ol’ things to do downtown this weekend”, then let our calendar open up your mind for options. |
